Morning (beta)
This content is in beta. DO NOT SHARE (yet)!!!
I have a new file for you. But this one is... different.
Do you love hearing the alarm in the morning? If so, stop reading now. Everyone still reading? Good. How well can a day start when we rely on triggering our fight-or-flight instinct just to jolt ourselves out of sleep? Or maybe you just hit the snooze button, because when you hear an alarm, the first thing you want to do is go back to sleep.
So why not have a different kind of alarm? An alarm that does not jolt you awake but rather gently instructs you to... wait for it... go back to sleep. You probably won't fall super deep into sleep given that your mind is awake enough to hear the instructions, but you won't have to wake up yet. Rather, you can keep drifting, relaxing, listening to the suggestion giving your mind and body time to build up your energy, prepare for the day ahead. Then, once your body is ready to go and infused with energy, you can jump out of bed and do some jumping jacks or a similar exercise to get your heart pumping.
So that's the new file. I call it "Morning" (better title ideas are welcome).
Important: This file is appropriate for all genders and age groups, but you must be in sufficiently good health to jump out of bed and do jumping jacks or something similar. You should also have enough space near your bed for such an exercise. Your use of this file is at your own risk. If for some reason, you still end up oversleeping, that's on you. 😇
How to use: Use this file as your alarm sound, set to 5-6 minutes prior to the time you need to be out of bed. Make sure the volume is moderate. You should be comfortably able to hear and understand the first words, but it shouldn't be too loud. The file gets louder as you get ready to jump out of bed.
You can download the file here. Let me know how it felt! Sleep well.
